Particular care has been turned in the choice of raw materials used, in the production technology and in the planning of KORKED™ PRO active stopper.

The use of a high-quality plastic blend determines an improvement on the mechanical characteristics in terms of:
• High-elasticity (98% elastic flow recovery after 10’ from stoppering)
• Optimal sealing at the neck of the bottle
• Less alterations due to temperature changes
• Gas resistance close to 100%
• Constancy of mechanical characteristics during the time

The single mould production with respect to the multiple mould injection (for the production of hundreds of pieces at the same time) or to the extrusion determines:
• Weight constancy (8 gr. +/-0,1)
• Internal cell structure and density constancy
• Complete absence of imperfections

The original hole which goes through KORKEDTM PRO has been created for two reasons:
• To allow high elasticity keeping at the same time its high density, to perfectly adhere at the internal surfaces of the bottle neck and remarkable stability in terms of time.
• To allow the air exchange through the membrane and the consequent micro-oxygenation.
